SUBJECT: Change of Location for the Albany Office of the Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision

Please note that our Albany Office will be temporarily moved to different space on the 9th Floor of the Education Building Annex during the week of March 21 to March 25, 2005. Because this move is temporary, the Bureau will not be changing its room number at this time and mail marked for delivery to Room 974 in the Education Building Annex will still be delivered to the Bureau at its new location.  However, the move will cause a temporary disruption in the telephone, facsimile, and computer lines available to Albany staff during the move.  Therefore schools should make note of this potential disruption in their correspondence with the Albany office.  If a critical situation arises, schools are advised to contact the NYC office of BPSS at (212) 643-4760 if the Albany office cannot be reached.

Once the Bureau is in its final location, we will formally notify the schools and appropriately change our letterhead to reflect that new location.
