Subject:    Meeting of the Proprietary School Advisory Council

 

The Advisory Council has scheduled its next meeting on Wednesday, October 4, 2006.  The meeting will take place at the New York State Education Department Office at 116 West 32nd Street, New York City, seventh floor (VESID Conference Room).  If you need further directions, please call the Bureau at (212) 643-4760.

 

The Public portion of the meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. and conclude approximately 1:30 p.m.

 

The agenda for the Advisory Council meeting is as follows:

 

·             Introduction.

·             Overview of the meeting agenda.

·             Review and approval of draft minutes from April 5, 2006.

·             Review open items from past meeting.

·             BPSS General update and status report.

·             Review proposed changes to education law, sections 5001-5010.

·             Comments and questions from Council members.

·             Comments and questions from the audience.

·             Set agenda and date for the next meeting.
